Surgen en 1980 con influencias del punk inglés y norteamericano, eran Monje (Jose Luis Salcines) a la voz, Pollo (Jose Luis Rodríguez) a la guitarra, Rana (Ricardo Roca) como bajista y Mosca (Gonzalo Fuentes) como batería. La característica voz de Monje los convierte rápidamente en un grupo de renombre de la movida madrileña, especialmente gracias a su canción "La Frontera Francesa". En 1982, Monje deja el grupo, ocupando su lugar Chema. En la primavera de 1985 el grupo acaba por disolverse y Pollo y Mosca, junto con Manolo UVI La UVI, otro grupo punk del momento, forma Comando 9mm, que quizá sea de los grupos de punk más longevos de España.
